szechuan chicken recipe





Ingredients:


  • Szechuan sauce : 2 tbsp
  • chicken wings/cubes : 2 pounds
  • self-rising flour : 1 cup
  • sugar : 3 tbsp
  • soy sauce: 1 cup
  • water: 1 cup
  • lemon juice: 3 tbsp
  • baking powder : 1/2 tsp
  • salt : 1/2 tsp
  • oil for fry



Method:


  1. Combine the soy sauce, sugar, water, garlic, lemon juice and chili sauce in a plastic bag.
  2. shift flour, salt and baking powder to mix well and place in another plastic bag. Add chicken wings one by one and shake to coat.
  3. Heat oil and fry chicken until golden brown. Add fried chicken pieces to soy sauce plastic bag mixture and shake well to coat.
  4. Place all pieces in a plate and serve with Szechuan Sauce and white rice.
