szechuan chicken recipe
- Szechuan sauce : 2 tbsp
- chicken wings/cubes : 2 pounds
- self-rising flour : 1 cup
- sugar : 3 tbsp
- soy sauce: 1 cup
- water: 1 cup
- lemon juice: 3 tbsp
- baking powder : 1/2 tsp
- salt : 1/2 tsp
- oil for fry
Method:
- Combine the soy sauce, sugar, water, garlic, lemon juice and chili sauce in a plastic bag.
- shift flour, salt and baking powder to mix well and place in another plastic bag. Add chicken wings one by one and shake to coat.
- Heat oil and fry chicken until golden brown. Add fried chicken pieces to soy sauce plastic bag mixture and shake well to coat.
- Place all pieces in a plate and serve with Szechuan Sauce and white rice.
