At home, it is a holiday tradition in many families to begin the Thanksgiving dinner by saying prayer. I think Thanksgiving is to feel gratitude to God for all the things in life. We can do this any time, any moment even for a smile which is given to us by God. Just think about any moment in life when you feel happy as the thoughts come into your mind, close your eyes and enjoy it. Then you must be thankful to God for this happiness because God has given you sweet memories. You can enjoy them any time. Even by remembering a single word which you had listened in past, can bring a lot of sweet memories to you. Don't feel sad that you have lost these moments, just feel proud that these are your sweet memories and still be yours. There are many people among you who cannot enjoy your sweet memories. So you must be thankful to the person who has given you smiles in this miserable world. You have to spent only few minutes on this practice and you will feel relax and thankful to the people around you. Now try to help other so that they can realize your presence. This way, other people including your friends, siblings, parents, partners and colleagues feel gratitude for God who has created all these relations. For bringing special joy and pleasure in your life try to be thankful on even little things in your life.
"Who does not thank for little will not thank for much."
