How to make quick&easy Gulab Jamuns?

  • Nido powder milk/dry milk : one cup
  • Egg: 1
  • Baking powder: 1tsp
  • Cardamom: 3-4 (ground)
  • Saffron: 3-4 drops
  • Flour: 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt: 1 tbsp
  • Ghee/oil: 1 tbsp
  • Pistachio: 4-5 (ground)optional
  • Oil for frying

Sugar: 1cup (ground)
Water: 2 ½ cup
Mix flour, baking powder, egg, yogurt, cardamom, saffron drops, powder milk and oil(1tbsp). Put aside dough for 15 minutes. In the meantime make golden syrup by mixing water and sugar (cook on low heat for few minutes until the sugar melts).
 Now make small balls of the dough and fry (low heat) in oil until golden brown. Place golden syrup on low heat and dip fried balls into it (one by one). Cook it for 5 minutes only. Dish out these balls and garnish with ground pistachio (optional).
