Break your fast!

The most important meal of the day is breakfast. It is needed by the body to get energy and perform well. Your body needs nourishment - fuel for the body to function because it has been fasting for many hours. It is a fact that Calories before energy expenditures are better than after. The body will get strain by omitting breakfast. Another benefit of break fast is, when you take an  adequate breakfast your work production in the late morning hours is increased, reaction time is quicker and you don't tire as easily. Meal skipping leads to overeating later which causes over weight. Good break fast improves concentration and results in better memory. Your breakfast should be 25% of your daily meal. A healthy breakfast helps you manage your body's your body's glucose levels better resulting in preventing diabetes, hypertension and other diet related ailments.Research has shown that a huge gap between dinner and next day meal may 
causes the sugar levels dip down hypoglycemia.

Lebanese Omelet:

  • 4    Eggs
  • 1/2 c  Milk
  • 1 tb Flour
  • 1/2 ts Baking powder
  •  1/2 c  Chopped scallions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  •  Oil for frying
 Beat eggs, milk, baking powder, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix in parsley and scallions. Heat the oil in a small skillet. Pour in enough mixture just to cover the bottom of the pan. Now cook slowly until firm. Continue until mixture is finished. Enjoy this omelet with cheese slices.
